To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Charles Trenet’s birth, L’Oreille Musicale takes you on a journey through the 60-years career of one of the most exceptional figure of French music.

From his early beginnings in Paris in the 1930s to his death in 2001, Charles Trenet, better known as “Le fou chantant” (the singing fool) wrote and performed almost 1 000 songs, including the biggest hits Boum!, La mer, Y’a d’la joie, Que reste-t-il de nos amours?, Ménilmontant and Douce France.

Come along and enter the poetic universe of one of the most influential French singer-songwriter of the 20th century.
