Angélique is 60. She still likes to party and she still likes men’s attention. She spends her nights in cabarets at the German border, getting them to buy drinks at the bar. But with time, clients are harder to find. One day, her regular Michel declares his love for her and proposes to marry her.
Party Girl is the first film of a trio of young directors which won the Caméra d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. It is a modern depiction set in North-east France, mixing French, German and the local dialect.
