Imagine a greener and kinder world! Imagine a child-friendly, animal-friendly, car-free, eco-friendly city… Welcome to Slowville! Follow the children of Slowville in their everyday life and you will see, no need to be a super-hero to have a life full of adventures! 

Children books author and illustator Madly Chatterjee will offer a reading of her Children of Slowville books followed by a workshop which will blend drawing and colouring with story-making.

About Madly Chatterjee 
Madly Chatterjee is a children books author and illustrator. The two first volumes of the Children of Slowville series were published in 2019. They deal with core values such as respecting the environment, animals and other human beings. Each volume is bilingual and for children from 3 to 9.

    A new venue for our friendly mid-week night-out where everyone is welcome: if you're a new member please don't hesitate to come along!

    Although we’re meeting in the restaurant we’re under no obligation to have food and they even have some Pastis!!

    We are very much looking forward to meeting new people, as well as the usual suspects!! And if you cannot come along exactly at 8pm... well, feel free to drop by any time afterwards!! (we're usually around until  11pm or thereabouts)

    Our film this week is Soundiata Keita, le Réveil du Lion by Kan Souffle.

    Synopsis:
    Thirteenth century in the kingdom of Mandé. Soundiata is a young prince of 25 years disabled of both legs. Despite this his father, the King Naré Maghan set him as the heirdom of the throne. Indeed, according to a prophecy, Soundiata would be the one who would make Mande the greatest empire in Africa.
